Data and Technology

Take courses focusing on statistics, machine learning, predictive analytics, and text analytics. Plus, gain expertise in varying aspects of programming, including data infrastructure and working with big data.

Creating Data-Empowered Managers

In addition to studying data ethics and privacy, you can complete opening residencies involving the use of data to lead change, along with visualization and storytelling data. We also offer mid-program residencies on the psychology of big data and research design.

Impactful Residency Experiences

The program includes two five-day residencies, each occurring over a long weekend. The residencies are designed to enhance learning on complex topics while allowing you to network and form a deeper connection with the program’s faculty, students, and administrators. The first residency will introduce the program, curriculum, technology, and resources available to students. The second residency, which occurs mid-way through the curriculum, will include two courses and introduce the Capstone Project.

The residencies may incorporate training and demonstrations from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure’s cloud computing. You will participate in hands-on training sessions and get access to cutting-edge industry tools and platforms, such as the AWS Academy, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI. These learning experiences are designed to build your skills in cloud-based IT, analytics, data science, machine learning, business intelligence, dashboarding, and more.
